Publishing. Youth Education. Community Access.
African Crown Publishing builds ethical publishing, youth literacy, and community-centered literary programs designed to protect Black stories and support writers across generations.
African Crown Publishing operates through a phased program model. Publishing anchors our work, while education and community programs launch intentionally over time to ensure sustainability, cultural accountability, and long-term impact.
Our core publishing program produces books rooted in truth, imagination, and cultural integrity. Authors retain full ownership of their work while receiving editorial, design, distribution, and launch support through an ethical, author-centered publishing model.
Through school partnerships, workshops, and youth anthologies, African Crown Publishing introduces young people to storytelling as a source of power, identity, and possibility. Programs are culturally grounded and developed in collaboration with educators and community organizations.
We build literary ecosystems beyond individual titles by supporting reading communities, workshops, digital events, and equitable access points to publishing knowledge. These programs expand in response to community partnerships, funding, and demonstrated need.
