Community. Education. Publication.
African Crown Publishing’s programs are designed to protect Black stories, develop writers across generations, and build lasting literary ecosystems—starting with publishing and expanding intentionally into education and community access.
African Crown Publishing operates a phased program model. Publishing anchors our work, while education and community programs launch intentionally over time to ensure quality, sustainability, and cultural accountability.
Our core program publishes books rooted in truth, imagination, and cultural integrity. Authors retain ownership of their work while receiving editorial, design, distribution, and launch support through an ethical publishing model.
This is ACP's foundational program.
Publishing launch begins in 2026
Through school partnerships, workshops, and youth anthologies, ACP introduces young people to storytelling as a source of power, identity, and possibility.
Programs are developed in partnership with schools and community organizations.
Pilot Programs begin in 2027
We build literary ecosystems beyond single books through reading communities, workshops, digital events, and equitable access to publishing knowledge.
Programs expand through partnerships, funding, and community demand.
